Came across this the other day, tucked inside a book.

Image

Our first Billing....in a borrowed van, Trevs mums' gazebo and our proud collection 2 RSW, 2 Choppers and the Schwinn stingray, just a day trip back then

Image

10 years on ........ 20 choppers (maybe more!!),10 swing bikes, countless muscle bikes, American cruisers, boardtrackers and various childrens bikes.........not to mention a caravan, 2 decaying  vans used a storage and one for towing.

and great memories and many great friends........ oh and a best man :D

Roll on this year .............what are we celebrating .....

As everyone did, pay for a days parking and stay for three nights! ;-)

Great memory, captured on paper like they used to be :| It strikes me how fertile and green the grass looks, it's been well-trodden, burnt and partied on since then....

Great post Elaine, 10 years on & Trevs still a hoarder!
I can't talk tho, I'm as bad, got all my car passes!
2005 was also Marianne's first Billing, we arrived (via a map) in a hire van, with no kids, a tent, disposable bbq, & some numbered mk3's to sell!
We didn't get there till the Saturday & had no pitch so had to park around the back as the hardcore were on the main drag(the road in them days!)
We've all come a long way since then & had some crazy times!
Even tho we don't see each other that much, within a couple a minutes of your company I feel the banter flows like yesterday!

After sitting outside Vinnie's watching a load of idiots riding round and round in circles I decided 'someone is having fun' and wandered over to Puddle Duck...... 2006 I parked in Puddle Duck and the rest is as they say History.

I'm loving these old times photos ... Let's have more !!!
Our hobby is in some ways a new one , around twenty years since the first few started hoarding old tatty bikes , but it has a very rich and deep history in that short time , mainly because of the fabulous people who have banded together and become friends , probably due to the Billing experience ...long may it continue.
