This yr i had furthest travelled from the lambretta club gb when i went to whitby.
345 mls 12 hrs in the saddle. See whitby pics.

The name stems from the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

It was purchased from fanatic scooters bristol as and Indian import requiring restoration. Restoration was never an option.
Reliability and performance at an affordable budget was.
When i ride it to the nationals it gives me a real smile factor as i pass all the tricked out so called quick scoots. Owners who cant wait to find out what motor its using at the fuel stops.

She runs a profiled and Blue printed small block casing. Sr 185 alloy barrel ported and also bluprinted to inlet manifold and exhaust down pipe. Then opened out to 205cc using honda piston, a lightend and balanced crank and 60mm rod. Breathing through a 30mm dellorto carb and remote foam filter. Making it good for about 80mph.

The motor is all experimental at the moment, I by chance came across a old skool 2 stroke tuner who has done all machining and tuning at cost also given me plenty of advise when things went wrong and we needed to go back to the drawing board as anything above 185cc requires the use of a big block casing. It returns about 48 to the gallon.

Tyres are schwalbe powertrack rated for 93mph so ideal for my requirements. The last rear tyre was a schwalbe weatherman ultra soft and meant for damp or wet conditions. That lasted 1 year and returned me 2,600 mls

I hope this is of intrest and answers your questions
