Nice historical time-line there, you don't think about it a the time but it's always good to have a record of these things for nostalgic piurposes. Tell us more about the put-puts against the fence.

That was some collection,

I started with a Yamaha 100 twin in 1980, moved up to an AS1 125 in 1981 very briefly before
I got my Suzuki ER125 in late 81'
Which I traded for a Honda 250N in 1983,
which I kept right up until 1986, before I got my dream bike a CX 500
which I crashed on the way home from work in October 1986.
Saddly that ended my biker days as well as the cartlidge in my left knee.

I have photos of all of my bikes except the 100 twin oddly enough,

The CX500 was a beautiful bike, very powerful compared with the 250N,
Twin overhead cam, but the weak spot was the radiator on the front, that would come into contact with loose chippings etc,
Great bike though, and would still look good today tbh.

I'm still looking for an AS3 Yamaha, I had the 100 twin which was a 1970 and a rough 71' AS1 125.
I would love to get an AS3, it's on my bucket list
