Yipee...... a customer at my sons shop has just passed his test , so he has lent me his Honda 125 to ride around on ..fun innit ??
Im off to buy a helmet tomorrow ... they tell me times have moved on since Bell open face helmets were the only choice, but Im not convinced . If it was good enough for Peter in 1969 , its good enough for Catfood a few decades later .

Oh , Iain , just do it mate . These days the instructors have all the gear , you just turn up , they supply the bikes etc etc . Its a piece of piss to pass the CBT , If you can ride a bicycle, and can drive a car ... you can pass the CBT. Cost me £150 , just turned up at 9 a.m. and went home at 2 p.m with the CBT certificate .
THe CBT is valid for 2 years , so you can do the actual riding test anytime within 2 years . You dont really need a bike, just book a couple of lessons on the instructors bike , then put in for your test .
Its well overdue for a Customcycles chapter of the Hells Angels to be formed.
