The story is that the original owner rode this for three weeks, then as fall out with his father resulted in the bike being taken off the kid , and the kid never saw the bike again .
Nearly 40 years later the father dies and the kid now grown up , finds the chopper in his fathers loft whilst clearing the huse out .

Nice story , and although teh bike has many scratches on teh frame , and a few rust spots , it looks clean and all original .

The question is , whats it worth ???

Im sort of commited to buying it , but we havent decided on a price yet .

Any one got any idea what its worth ???

Tell the owner to put it on ebay and it will get the correct price in the current market. Other wise just give them £1500

hi rob
cant believe you the oracle asking how much its worth  , its worth what you want to pay,or is it worth what you want to pay to move it on for a profit/ beer tokens ? its worth what the seller will accept for it ?
its a survivor and looks a good one at that , start low go up with negotiation , or is it a one time deal?
to me £ 400 .00 but i am nearly as tight as you

In my opinion it's worth a bit more than you'd want to pay, I would offer him £375 & see what he says, not too low & not too high!
Use your charm Rob!

Yes I bought it , but as allways getting it to Catfood Acres (my shed) is a hassle.
Its in Northumberland and I need a way to sweet talk my missus into coming with me for a road trip to see the touristy Roman bits up there , and just by coincidence collect a Chopper on the way back .
