Thanks.

Also, thanks for the advice.

I'm picking up another one in a few hours - I just hope it's not too bad.

All the best/

Hi.

Sorry, that was terribly phrased - I should have said 'another Chopper'. I had a prismatic in the early 80s - and I wanted something I could ride around on more regularly. I'll post some pictures later.

With regard to restoration - I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I bought it like that.

Best regards.

With regard to restoration - I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I bought it like that. Whilst it's slightly vulgar to talk about money, I know that people are interested to know what different models are 'worth' at any point in time. I paid £1,175, which may be over the odds; however, as an owner (amongst other things) of a Capri 2.8i and a Sinclair C5, I know how much time and effort it takes to keep something looking good. Also, the family I bought it from were so lovely I would probably have paid a bit more.

Best regards.

i dont think it is over priced, it looks a very nice bike either as a show piece or a mint rider

Mmmmm! Capri 2.8.
Hope you're going to come to billing in it (bring a bike as we'll if you like).

Hi newholland.

I just kept hunting on e-bay and hoped that my luck would come in.

There's one at the moment, but it needs a bit of TLC....

The other place is used to look was:

Good luck with your search.

Cheers.

I know it's a Chopper forum, but I thought I might be able to sneak this under the radar!

Apologies if that's a bit naughty.
